On Sunday the 4th of June we had our first ever fit honey meet up! We met at Diamond Creek YMCA oval and headed down the Eltham bike trail 2.5km to Allendale road and back using the park run track. On our way back we stopped at the dog park on our way back after total of 5km.
It was an absolutely gorgeous Saturday the morning started off a little chilly but once it was time to start the sun was shining and the weather was perfect. We met at a little park bench giving everyone the opportunity to meet each other and introduce their pups. We also shared some protein mousse and had tasters of different pre workouts. Once everyone who was coming was there, we were off!
The walk went so quick, laughing and chatting with a gorgeous group of girls just makes time fly. Not to mention the gorgeous scenery of the Diamond Creek river and open rolling grassy hills that accompanied us along the way made for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. 5kms went by like nothing and everyone was smiling and enjoying the walk.
The dog park proved entertaining as always and was a great treat after our walk to sit and play with dogs of every breed and watch all the dogs play with each other. There was probably 10-12 dogs there all getting along, playing and looking like little idiots. It was the perfect end to the perfect day!
